Dear Lockhart High School Families,
I hope this letter finds you and your loved ones in good health and high spirits. It is with great pleasure and immense enthusiasm that I write to you as the new principal of Lockhart High School. As I step into this role, I am filled with a deep sense of responsibility and an unwavering commitment to the success and well-being of each and every Lion under our care.
First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you for entrusting us with the education and development of your children. I understand the immense importance of this partnership between home and school, and I want you to know that we are fully dedicated to fostering an environment that nurtures the growth, learning, and empowerment of our Lions.
Our theme this year at LHS is #GritandGanas. Grit, the unwavering determination and perseverance to overcome obstacles, is the cornerstone of success. We will instill in our Lions the belief that no challenge is insurmountable and that with hard work, resilience, and a growth mindset, they can achieve greatness. Ganas, the burning desire and passion to achieve one's goals, will fuel their journey towards excellence. We will inspire our Lions to dream big, set ambitious goals, and take ownership of their education.
As your new principal, I am committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where every student feels valued, respected, and safe. We will promote a culture of acceptance, where diversity is celebrated, and each individual's unique voice is heard. Our dedicated teachers will employ innovative teaching methods, personalized instruction, and a curriculum that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration.
Lockhart High School will be a place where students can discover their passions and explore a wide range of opportunities. We will offer a diverse array of extracurricular activities, clubs, and sports teams to encourage holistic development and nurture talents beyond the classroom. Our goal is to empower our Lions to become well-rounded individuals, equipped with the skills and confidence to thrive in an ever-changing world.
I have an open door policy and I will always do what is in the best interest of all our Lions. I invite you to join us on this exciting journey as we embark on a new chapter at Lockhart High School. Your involvement and support are vital to the success of our students. We will regularly communicate with you, keeping you informed about school events, academic progress, and opportunities for parental engagement. Together, we will create a strong partnership that fosters the growth and achievement of our young learners.

Queridas familias de Escuela Secundaria de Lockhart,
Espero que esta carta los encuentre a usted y a sus seres queridos con buena salud. Es con gran placer e inmenso entusiasmo que les escribo como nueva directora de la escuela secundaria de Lockhart. Al asumir este cargo, estoy llena de un profundo sentido de responsabilidad y un compromiso inquebrantable con el éxito y el bienestar de todos y cada uno de los Leones bajo nuestro cuidado.
Primero, quiero expresar mi más sincero agradecimiento a todos ustedes por confiarnos con la educación y el desarrollo de sus hijos/hijas. Entiendo la inmensa importancia de esta relación entre el hogar y la escuela, y quiero que sepan que estamos completamente dedicados a formar un lugar que apoye el crecimiento, el aprendizaje y el empoderamiento de nuestros Leones.
Nuestra tema este año en LHS es #GritandGanas. El valor (Grit), la determinación inquebrantable y la perseverancia para superar los obstáculos, es la fundación del éxito. Ganas, el deseo y la pasión por alcanzar las propias metas, impulsarán su viaje hacia la excelencia. Vamos a inspirar a nuestros Leones para que sueñen grande, establezcan metas ambiciosas y se apropien de su educación.
Como nueva directora, estoy comprometida a crear un ambiente inclusivo y de apoyo donde cada estudiante se sienta valorado, respetado y seguro. Promoveremos una cultura de aceptación, donde se celebre la diversidad y se escuche la voz de cada individuo. Nuestros maestros dedicados emplearán métodos de enseñanza innovadores, instrucción personalizada y un plan de currículo que desarrolle la creatividad y la colaboración.
La escuela secundaria de Lockhart será un lugar donde los estudiantes puedan descubrir sus pasiones y explorar diferentes oportunidades. Ofreceremos muchas actividades extracurriculares, clubes y equipos deportivos para fomentar el desarrollo holístico y los talentos más allá del salón de clases. Nuestro objetivo es capacitar a nuestros Leones para que se conviertan en individuos integrales, equipados con las habilidades y la confianza para prosperar en un mundo en constante cambio. Mi puerta siempre estará abierta y siempre haré lo que sea mejor para todos nuestros Leones. Los invito a unirse en este viaje emocionante mientras nos embarcamos en un nuevo capítulo en la escuela secundaria de Lockhart. Su participación y apoyo son vitales para el éxito de nuestros estudiantes. Nos comunicaremos regularmente con ustedes para mantenerlos informados sobre los eventos escolares, el progreso académico y las oportunidades para la participación de los padres.
