Until I was thirteen, I lived in various towns in both Arkansas (where I was born) and Texas. When I was thirteen, my family moved to Casper, Wyoming. I graduated from Natrona County High School in Casper, Wyoming. I participated in Cross county Track, Basketball, Theater, Choir, Student Council and National Honor Society. I loved my high school experience and want to pass that on to the students in my classroom.
I received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology in 1991 from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas. 1992-2002 I worked in Clinical Laboratories as a registered Medical Technologist through the Association of Clinical Pathologists. MT(ASCP) In May of this year, I received my Master's of Education degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. I have been a teacher at Lockhart High School since 2004.
